Despite honey being marketed by the cooperative, owing to huge demand in the country vis-à-vis comparatively lesser production from the cooperative, honey is also imported in Bhutan from Indian market (mainly the Dabur Honey). There are a numerous advantageous as well as disadvantages of the natural honey produced by the cooperative in comparison with the competitor (the Indian honey), as presented in table 7 below.
